Kass
Evan J. Kass, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.C.S., is a specialist in the diagnosis and management of urological problems in infants, children, and adolescents. He is Cheif of the Division of Pediatric Urology at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
He received his medical degree from State University Health Science Center in New York and completed his surgical/urology residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Kass also completed a pediatric urology fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Kass has published over 200 scientific articles and book chapters. He has lectured at numerous conferences in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South Africa.
Dr. Kass is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the Society of Pediatric Urology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 1996, he was elected Chairman of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Section on Urology and has been a member of the organization's executive committee for nine years. Dr. Kass has served on numerous national and international pediatric urology education committees. He has been listed in the Detroit Monthly as one of the best doctors in Detroit and in Who's Who of the best doctors in America.
